Monsters, Inc.
This wonderful entertainment was made by PIXAR animation who created the very successful "Toy Story" and "Toy Story 2" and it's brought to you by Disney putting them back in the business of making top flight family classics. There are more jokes per minutes than you've ever heard, more color and action than you ever seen, as well as a great music score by Randy Newman. It's all about the care and training of monsters and how they're coached and tested as they learn to frighten children in their rooms. Sounds scary, but it's not. After a slow start you'll soon begin to fall in love with many of the fuzzy cuddly monsters, just like the real-life (but animated) child Boo does. She somehow found her way into and doesn't want to leave. There's non-stop fun and joy aplenty in watching the happy duo (the colorfully animated Goodman and Crystal) as they try to get Boo back into her bedroom. Steve Buscemi is the voice of the really mean really ugly monster who wants to get his hands on Boo and scare the screams out of her before the good monsters can get her back into her room. But as we all know "there's no place like home" and as in all good fairy tales there's a happy ending.
