The Center, formerly a stable, contains a lab responsible for monitoring
Central Park's water and soil while teaching kids biology and
chemistry. Computer rooms, available for use by visitors, are also
located at the Center.
Central Park visitors can borrow North Meadow Recreation Center kits
that include various sporting goods, such as frisbees, jump ropes,
balls, bats, and hula-hoops. Basketballs, to be used at the Center's
