Montclair History Center
The Montclair History Center (MHS) has two locations: 108/110 Orange Road and 30 North Mountain Avenue, Montclair.
The Israel Crane House serves as the house museum, exhibition center and meeting space.
The Clark House next door houses the Terhune Library as well as historic skills classrooms and administrative offices. Two smaller buildings to the rear of the property, the Crafts Building and Historic Country Store and Museum Shop, offer space for exhibition and educational purposes.

See the Crane House and Historic YWCA decorated by the Garden Club of Montclair. Tours are self-guided during December. 110 Orange Road, Montclair, NJ. 10 am to 1 pm.     Currently on display is a selection of artifacts that were uncovered during the archaeological dig by Montclair State University’s Center for Heritage and Archaeological Studies at MHS grounds in March 2013.  Exhibit also features photographs and diagnostic tools used by Montclair State University students during the project. Exhibit developed by Jaclyn Lynyak.
