Ste. Marie Among the Iroquois Living History Center
Step back to 1657 and the re-created french mission of Sainte Marie. Learn the story of the Jesuits who traveled from Quebec City to the shores of Onondaga Lake by invitation from the Iroquois Nation.
Operated by the Friends of Historic Onondaga Lake, this facility features a visitors center with rotating exhibits space, and space dedicated to the presentation of the Jesuit experience and their interaction with the Natives of the area.
The Mission Site is a stockaded living history exhibit which features costumed intrepretors reinacting the daily chores of the men who lived here 350+ years ago.
